Since the whole casino business is a bit mess in the US and the US government has stated it can legally acquire any .com domain if it violates their laws I need an advice which is the most stable, or better yet a good and proven off-shore *.com registrar/hosting company I can use for a casino affiliate website.

Why not just register a domain in a UK address?

Get a decentralized .bit domain, and run your payments through Bitcoin and all problems solved.

He's probably preferring a .com TLD as it's more commonly recognized\accepted by the general mass, especially North America.

Don't get a .com TLD. Even if it's registered abroad, it's likely going to be routed from the US. You're best bet would be to find a respectable looking one. I haven't seen a .bit yet, but that would probably be something to look into.

Hey guys, thanks for all those thoughts.

I am aware that if I have a *.com domain it would still be very vulnerable, but I don't plan on doing anything super-huge (so would be considered a "small fry") so I figured out that with a offshore/abroad registrar I would be relatively in the safe waters.

I researched this and came to the conclusion that Switzerland (CH), Iceland (IS), or Russia (RU) is the way to go.

Offshore registrar is meaningless because they can't stop Verisign from handing over the domain name. TLD managed by verisign/afilias or by countries in the European Union have had their domains seized. Switzerland, Iceland, and Russia won't be in the EU or handing over domain names without due process anytime soon.

"small fry" don't earn enough to make it worth their while in this sort of niche, especially with a NA demo-graphic, bud. I think you're somewhere in-between being short sided, and compromised by thinking this isn't going to be a long term strategy if you make more than you anticipate.

Take buddies advice up there, as I had already alluded to. .com wasn't originally or utilized off shore.... Shit man, if you don't believe that, I'll sell you a .xxx domain while I'm in church confessing "my" sins and there will be no repercussions.

Speaking from experience? Probably signed the contract annually to pay $12 less and get your first domain free. GJ.

Damn dude! I usually don't have problems understanding something (I don't come from a country where English is not a native language), but in your case I'm totally lost.. especially the first part.

Check out the BST section of the forum, I remember I saw some people selling completely offshore hosting.

I have heard bad reviews, make sure to do your own research before making any purchase with them.

Never heard anything bad about them. Cheapest domain prices + free whois privacy.
Also they have fastest DNS change on the planet :) It takes just about 1-2 minutes to apply changes (comparing to 1and1 where it take DAYS).
