Hey BHW,

I'm curious to know how many of you are SaaS founders or professionals working in a SaaS company.

It would be great to connect with like-minded individuals who are involved in the SaaS industry. If you're a SaaS founder or part of a SaaS company, please feel free to share a bit about your experience and what you do in this space. I'm looking forward to hearing from you all and possibly exchanging insights and ideas.

Let's build a strong network within the BHW.!

I'm also looking to gather insights on:

  • The challenges you faced starting up.
  • Marketing strategies that work best for SaaS.
  • Tips for customer retention and reducing churn.
  • Your experience with funding (bootstrapped vs. investors).

Also, if you have any success (or failure) stories you're willing to share, I'd love to hear about those too. It would be great to get a sense of the diversity of SaaS projects within the BHW community.

Looking forward to your responses!
Hey I have built 4 SaaS as of now and taken a successful exit by getting them acquired. And my key takeaways are 1- always build something which is in the trend and only top companies are doing that and sell that for much cheaper must add more small features to and the benefits are the large company take times to add new features due to the large team and formal structure. 2 - Only cater to the paying client do not offer free services because hurdle anyone gets convert. 3- Be active on socials and document your failure to success

I have recently released Servya and have many other projects under my belt over the years (Domain Hunter Gatherer, DomDetailer, No Hands SEO for example) but this is my first proper web based SaaS.

I have lots of plans for the development of it but as I have a few different businesses and little help behind the scenes it is hard to find time to market them once all of the support and dev work is completed.

If anyone has any good avenues to promote these I am all ears.

Hi there! I'm the founder of a SaaS company focused on omni-channel inventory management. It's great to see fellow SaaS professionals here. One of our biggest challenges was fine-tuning our product-market fit. For marketing, content and inbound strategies have been effective. Retention is all about listening to customer feedback and continuously improving our service. We're bootstrapped so far, which has given us flexibility but also required careful resource management. Happy to share more and exchange insights with others in the community!

I was running a saas business few years back but sadly i was not able to get enough paying clients so had so close it.

For me personally its just about making a mvp fast (2-5 days) launching social media marketing if it fails it fails.. Move on to the next one you will get one eventuall that makes a couple thousand a month
but churn in tuff if you cant keep up with marketing.
