Hey Everyone, Im sure someone has run into this problem by now and was wondering if you have any tips for me, or someone could maybe get some ideas from this post.

I will try and break it down step by step what I do.

This is all for BLOGENGINE blogs.

Once I scrape a list of blogs and start posting to them, I save all those blogs. After working with scrape box for a while I have harvested a total of probably 30k unique blogengine blogs. I added all those blogs to the blacklist, because I dont want to keep scraping the same blogs and now im running into a problem - I can't find any new blogs.

If I put in a list of 50 or so random keywords, harvesting will only come back with about 100-150 blogs. How can this be? With a blacklist of 30k blogs I can only find aprox. 2 new blogs per keyword I enter? I have tried common keywords, unique keywords, tried searching google.au and others and still no sucsess. Anyone else in my same boat?

you need to run more keywords through it.. Stick a keyword file of like 50,000 words and leave it running... Youll soon find some more.:)

I have found that using yahoo and msn at the same time give me to many duplicate URLS.

This was a great idea, but I tried it and its not working as well as I would have though. I got a list of ~50,000 keywords. They are in alphabetical order, and I ran all the keywords starting with A through the list (about 4,000). It finished and found atound 10k blogs, once I removed the duplicate URLS it had around 5k. I figured that was good. I added those to my blacklist and searched again with 10,000 keywords B -> D and it only came back with 400 usable blogs, added those to the blacklist and now im on E and F and its coming back with virtually nothing. Whats the most blogs anyone has found with scrapebox. I keep duplicate domains but not duplicate urls, and have about 40k and having a hard time finding many more...

how about starting a new topic where people can share their scraped urls (txt file)? This would gain everyone a lot of time and bandwidth!

I would be willing to share with someone who had an equal number of blogs, but im starting to worry that there can only be around 40k blog engine blogs that can be found with scrape box. I would like to know if anyone has a list of more then 40k BlogEngine blogs. Make sure to delete all duplicate URLs first because this program is great at finding duplicates.

I think the problem is in the fact that it only checks page 1 of the search engine unless it finds something there. If there was a way to force it to check deeper pages, im sure it would increase the number found.

So even if there is just 40k just spam all of them with a massive set of quality highly spinable comments and et voilĂ . How many backlinls do you need? That would get you at least 5k.

Perhaps it is time to start using keywords in foreign languages?

then we will all be commenting the same blogs as others and not to mention it won't be very targeted. Very bad idea imo

I just bought scrapebox yesterday and love it!

I think you need to figure some new footprints to find un-raped blogs (or at least I have managed to find one or two new footprints at least anyway)

Yup, the key to scrapebox is in the footprints. Particularly the custom footprints if you're looking to use the tool 'just' as a scraper...

Honestly I think that is the worst thing anyone could do.

You don't want everyone at the same blogs.

To the OP, I don't think it's possible to run out of blogs. Think outside the box. Vary your keywords among a wide range of niches.

Additionally, if you're having trouble thinking of keywords, make use of ScrapeBox's "Scrape" feature.

PM me if you want some more help.

This is a horrible idea. If people did this, everyone would be spamming the same blogs in a short period of time.

Being lazy won't get you anywhere. Take the time to do keyword research and learn how to do some custom footprints.

This is a bad idea. A very good example why this tool should be more money, cause stupid ideas like this will kill the tool!
