What you can do is the following:

Once you verified your Twitter Account with a phone number the first time you go into the Account settings of the Twitter account and delete the number. Now when another verification comes then you can enter a new number again and so on. It's an ongoing process, but the only way how you can avoid getting locked out of your account from Twitter because of the Phone number you no longer have access to.
The other option would be only to buy real sim cards and use these for your accounts, that's what i mainly do. It's a pain in the butt but if you keep everything in an Excel Sheet then its alright.

You are the best Heiko. I have found some usa sims on ebay, and they last for up to 5 months without loading any additional money on them (300 text and voice are free) , but they are an initial investment of $9 per sim. once again, they do last 5 months. since twitter is doing voice verify, using real sims is the best option, however, I need to search for a better sim provider

From where do you buy the sim cards? Do these sims stay activated, even you don't top them up ? and for how long?

eBay, so far i had no problems with them. I bought the first sim cards back in December 16 and they are still active. I think only the money on it expires, but not the simcard itself (atleast that's how it is in germany)
