    Hey fellow BHWers

had an idea pop into my head and since im not sure if it would make money decided to discuss it here rather then elsewhere in the forum

dont even know if its has been discussed here before as its not a new concept just twisting things

So if you run, manage or own a real offline brick and mortar type business here is may be a suggestion to make more money

    1) Your business will need to have a website or i guess you could design a landing page for this to work

    2) Advertise probably offline like in the local newspaper, trading paper, newsletter, flyers etc. that your offline business is having a special deal on a certain product or service applicable to that biz - it would need to be a good deal to grab people's attention like half the normal price etc.

In the ad - list that to get the special deal, only people who go to the business website url can get the special coupon to print out to take it to the biz inorder to get that deal. Ok i hear you say what so good about this idea - print out coupons ..... but wait read on

    3) Here is where the money comes in: you would than need to install a gateway type script on the webpage which when the visitor gets to the website url blocks them from accessing the content: and say to get the special coupon you just need to fill out a simple survey that only takes a few mins please proceed blah blah

Use your cpa offers or surveys or zip submit here, rotate them / filter them by geo ip or whatever to get maximum earnings per completed offer or show them a choice of offers like ************** (as example) does based on their location

The site visitors would be motivated to do the survey to inorder to be able to print out the coupon and make use of special deal you promoted so conversion rate should be high?

    -----------------------------

I guess it would be blackhat if you did not actually own or work for an offline store front business and just advertised as if you were doing real biz promo without their permission and offering a special deal that does not exist - cashing in on their brand?

Then build a fake site based on the real images and site used for the real biz and a fake coupon so it all seems legit..... guess you would have to be careful that the real biz could not track your true personal details and try to sue your ass for fake adverts when that biz gets people coming into the store, trying to use those fake coupons :)

    -------------------------------

If you did however actually own or run a real offline biz than not only would the avertising bring heaps of promo and customers but get lots of cpa earnings with the only investment the cost adverts which most biz already do anyway. But you would have to price your special deal still at a price where you did not make a loss on it still but relied on the cpa earnings..

I dont know the technical aspects of this idea but in theory thought it sounded good and no doubt you guys will be able to improve it

You're thinking WAY too much pal. Simple ideas often work the best.

What a pile of doo. The only benefit of doing that kind of BH stuff online is that you're impossible to find. Anyone that tried that around here would end up with some drunk yahoo lighting a trash can and tossing it through the WINDOW of the LOCAL BUSINESS whose NAME they were actually stupid enough to put in that offline ad.

Even without the yahoo factor people would come in just to bitch at the checkout clerk. I know I would

geez guys calm down dont get your panties in a bunch - less hate more loving towards people who share ideas. That attitude in general will lead to know one posting methods if they are gunna get flamed everytime.....

there is a whitehat way there too where i cant see how you would get in any trouble, if the special deal is legit and you have permission to do that, then you are just creating another income stream from something your business already does.......

the bh way is risky but isnt it always

    take it or leave it
