NOTE: there should be no outside contact information left in JV threads or posts. This includes both thread starter (OP) or those responding.

Here in the Joint Ventures (JV) sections, members can post a thread to search out business partners.

Threads in this section go into moderation before going live so that our moderators can ensure that both the poster and the thread content are within our rules.

Rules for Posting in the Joint Venture Section
  • Post/Message Count: 50 minimum
  • Account Age: 30 Days minimum
Please be aware that only true JVs are permitted in this section. Examples of true JVs are below:
  1. "Your Facebook accounts + My Proxy Network"
  2. "Your Content + My Blog Network"
  3. "My Email Traffic + Your Web Design Skills'
  4. 'My Web Hosting Accounts + Your Web Design Skills'
  5. "Your Leads + My Logo Design Skills"
Requests or Offers for financial investments/instruments and attempts to sell in this section are prohibited.
  1. "Your Money to Buy My Accounts + My Facebook Accounts"
  2. "Your Money To Pay Me + My SEO Services"
  3. “Your Paypal/Stripe/Merchant Services and my sales”
  4. “My Paypal/Stripe/Merchant Services and your sales"
The list above are merely examples and is not meant to be an exhaustive list of what is not allowed as a Joint Venture. If you're not sure if what you're about to post counts as a true Joint Venture, please create a support ticket for assistance.

Other things not allowed in the JV section:
  • Posting your outside contact information. This is what Direct Messaging (DMs) are for.
  • Attempts at selling w/o an upgraded account.
  • Attempts at selling outside of the Marketplace.
  • Trying to hire a freelancer or employee. Use the Hire a Freelancer (HAF) section.
  • Trying to buy something. Use the Want to Buy (WTB) section.
  • You may not bump any thread older than 30 days from the current day's date if you happen to find one unlocked. Replying to these old threads may incur a warning.
This section is not meant to be used to circumvent the marketplace, HAF or WTB. Any attempts to do so will result in a warning, regardless of whether or not the "JV" thread goes live.

JV's are offered on an as-is basis, and as with all business decisions, you will be expected to do your own due diligence. BHW accept no liability for any content posted here. Also, this is not governed by the dispute resolution subforum as that is for buyers or sellers who have an issue contractual issue to buy or sell.

Further Clarification: Examples of What a Joint Venture Is Not

If you're planning to post a joint ventures thread, it's important to know what a JV actually is.

Below, we've provided some real life examples of threads rejected from the JV section, along with an explanation of why they weren't JVs.

Example #1

Why this isn't a JV: The title of this stated that he wants to work with someone who has a method. So he has 100k emails, but instead of finding a method on his own (or buying one in the WTB section), he's looking for someone who has a method.

What would make it a JV: "I have 100k emails, you own an email marketing platform to send them out".

Example #2

Why this isn't a JV: So he has "the experience", and he's looking for someone to create an NFT for him. Rather than post a JV, this is more appropriate in the hire a freelancer section.

Example #3

This guy wants to hire a marketer and the request belongs in the Hire a Freelancer subforum.

What would make it a JV: Nothing.

If you're having trouble understanding this, one way to think of it is to word your offer like this and see if it makes any sense: I have the _______, you have the _______".

The original posted has to state what they are offering and what they expect the other party to be offer in order to have an approved JV thread.

Vague requests only clog up the forum from those that have a clear idea of what they are expecting and what they are bringing to the table and will not be approved.
