It's always good to have some self-humor. Anyway, I'm new in this blog-game (always disregarded it as I found it troublesome to write about my private life or my favorite pet) and I'm having some trouble setting up my blog so it can get feeds from other websites, so I can automize this website and put it on autopilot (using WP-O-Matic).
I've also acquired the extralabs programs:
    ExtraLabs Feed Editor v. 5.4
    Extralabs RSS Submit v1.7
    That I haven't used yet

    Say I have the website:
    hxxp://womenshealthnews.blogspot.com/

How do I grab the RSS feed?!
Someone posted this on the topic (autoblogs on crack):
    hxxp://womenshealthnews.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss
    BUT I CANT FIND IT!?

    All I find is:
    hxxp://feeds2.feedburner.com/WomensHealthNews &
    hxxp://womenshealthnews.blogspot.com/atom.xml

Which both I can't use for a lot right?

Tell me how to find that /feeds/posts/default?alt=rss !!!

    Thanks

Did you even read any of the posts on that blog you mentioned?

I think you'll have better luck finding the rss feed at
    Code:
    http://womenshealthnews.wordpress.com
    .

Yep, there it is, right on the right hand side of
    Code:
    http://womenshealthnews.wordpress.com
    Hope this helps...

The website was an example of how/where to extract the RSS feed for. Not that I want to extract exactly that page!

    http://womenshealthnews.wordpress.com/feed/
So where is the /feeds/posts/default/?alt=rss found at??

I know there are people on BHW who knows how to find that direct link. Please come forward; it'll take you about a minute to explain!

    oh no me again.

I just found this on an old tutorial dont know if it will be of any use.

    Quote
""""While many of the plugins can do the job - they are not really necessary at all. All you really have to do is add the following lines of code to your template as its already built into Wordpress.

    <?php include_once(ABSPATH.WPINC.?/rss.php?);
    wp_rss(?http://feed.domain/location?, #of items); ?>

The explanation for the 2 above lines of php code is rather simple. Just replace http://feed.domain/location with the URL of the feed you wish to show, and replace #of items with the number of items you wish to show. Wordpress will then aggregate the feed and show it for you where you placed the feed in your template.""""" unquote

The Rss feed varies from website to website, article directory, blog etc.

But most sites do have one.

You can always use feedity, or dapper to make an rss feed for you if one doesnt exist. (Especially if its a static website nto web 2.0)
