I run an automotive blog and sometimes I write about new car models but I'm confused because you can't find royalty free pictures of a newly released car. Is it okay to use licensed images? I've seen smaller website use the same images every other car blog use.

A few of the car manufactures have a media section on their websites with press kits available. You can also contact the manufacturer's directly and ask for permission to use these images.

Worst they could say is no.

You can hire someone else to do it for you, it costs a little but it's exclusively yours

You should create something just for you. If it's too difficult, you can hire someone to do it, it will be your monopoly.

You should design it yourself or spend money to hire someone to make a design for you

Have tou try using AI or using Canva. In that way you could create your own images without royalty and all images are yours.

Many manufacturers offer press releases with high-resolution images of their new models. These are usually free to use for editorial purposes (like your blog). Check their media section for usage guidelines.

No is not ok to use licensed images. You can probably buy pictures or generate your own with A.I.

Royalty-free images are rare now you can create them on your own with AI or download them from their website if it's possible
