ROFL 280 people copied one of my articles

    It's about a history-related topic and it's funny that even museums and government sites copied my stuff... without giving credit.

    I just did a Google search between quotes for a string in one article I made about 7 years ago, and I noticed that 280 people copied it. Just one article in 280 different sites, without counting the duplicate content at the end...

    Makes me feel kinda good about my writing skills when I was 15, LOL.

    Nice ... Now send legal notices to all of them and ask for compensation. :D

    Or just ask them and tell them to include a link back to your site from the article. If some of them are Gov sites, you will get very good link juice

    On the other hand, if they are gov sites the compensation can be good $$$:eek:
