Riskier to get one link from a PBN domain or blog with spam links?

    Which is riskier?

    1. Link from a site that would be considered a PBN; an expired domain with high authority back links in a relevant niche. Truly private and not a "public" PBN.

    2. Guest post from a blog with spammy back links. (when I check the back link profile it's thousands of junky links). As a result the blog has high DA, PR etc...

Which one would seem like a more legitimate link from Google's perspective?

Also are links from blogs with thousands of crappy back links considered high risk?

The difference between the two is that the first is an expired domain but with legitimate backlinks. The second blog is disguised as a real blog but has thousands of crappy back links.

Which one is the most "low risk" link to point back to my site?

Change is the Only Constant in SEO. Each year, Google changes its search algorithm around 500-600 times.

    1. PBN with good & clean backlink profile is good to go.

    2. Guest post sites with a spammy backlinks are not definitely a guest post. They are just simply make up a PBN as guest post. No real guest bloggers will allow to link a spammy site until they are just selling for money.
