I've been reading about proxies and there is something I do not understand that maybe someone can help. Things that I learned so far: Private proxies are the best because only I use them so if there is abuse it was my doing. What I'd like to know is what happens when it comes to public proxies scraped from the internet through proxy multiplier or proxy goblin.

Assume I'm using a public proxy to post on tumblr account. I'm sure that proxy will eventually get abused by someone else and die. Would I lose my tumblr account?

I'm thinking that if whoever is abusing the proxy is also spamming tumblr then tumblr might just ban the IP and all accounts linked to that IP, right? What is the likelihood of this scenario?

Public proxies are already beaten to death and not worth using for account creation and posting not just on tumbler but pretty much any site on the web, unless of course if you are looking for some short term gains.
