This is most likely a widely known method but it has continued to work for my launch after launch. When I see people posting about which new system they are going to get it makes me even more excited for these systems to come out. This is potentially the easiest possible way to make money and while the upside is somewhat limited, it's cold hard and easy cash. 1. Go to your local Gamestop. 2. Reserve a PS4. 3. Wait till November. 4. One week before launch date start checking classified ads sites and ebay to see how much the PS4 is selling for. Figure out which one its selling for more on and either post an ad on classified ad sites or list your system on ebay. I would try and sell as close to launch date as possible. 5. Collect your 200% ROI. 6. If you notice that you aren't getting what you want for your system hang on to it for a bit. With Christmas season fast approaching around that time (and a likely system shortage, as their nearly always is) there are going to be some greedy kids somewhere begging their parents for the best present they can think of. Waiting for Christmas is a risk because if they produce more systems than they are originally predicted to, they might not be as rare as people initially think. 7. How's this risk-free? Simple, if you don't sell your system for more than face value, bring it back to the Gamestop that you purchased it from and get a full refund. They don't charge a restocking fee. Gamestop will only allow you to preorder 1 system per person. It used to be 2 systems per person per store and then they caught on to what resellers like myself were doing. So while getting 10+ systems by myself is no longer possible, there are loopholes. If you front the cash for family members or friends to reserve the system under their name, and possibly give them a small cut of the profit for their time, you can still get multiple units. How much can you truly make doing this? When the PS3 came out, I had 10+ consoles. I sold several on Craigslist for $1800 a piece and a few on ebay. My highest ebay sale was for $2400. I paid $599 for them. What else can you make $1000+ for a few hours of work?
