Bought a toy on eBay - Disney, brand new but it does not work properly.
It was sold as brand new, but after I contact the seller, they said no returns (and reading the listing, it did state no returns:( ).

    Anything I can do?

File a chargeback as item not as described, you will win it. Just add a picture or something.

Did you buy it via "But it Now" ? Although many sellers state no returns, that is infact against eBays policy.

Unless the seller described the item as defective or not working they need to take of the problem. They can't hide behide the not returns clause. That doesn't give them the right to defraud. Email the seller and tell them to refund or you're going to give them negative feedback, notify ebay and file a police report for fraud. If they don't react do it. Give them grief.

It was buy it now. Listed as fully working, seller even said in comms that it had been tested as working...

Emailed them and they said they will give refund, but will deduct 14.80 for shipping costs (Even though the postage stamp said 4.40!), item total was £35, and they had listed shipping as "free" anyway. Also, they want me to return it to them.

They only have 10 feedback so now I'm starting to wonder if they are doing this regularly (and creating new accounts maybe?).

How do I do chargeback - through paypal or through ebay direct?

Also is it really against ebay terms to offer no returns? I will read up their TOS...

    Thanks guys!!!
