You have raised a good point. Nothing against @se900se though. He uses apple devices because he likes them. Good enough reason.
But then.. in general.. apple is using nasty tactics these days to increase their sales. Louis Rossmann, a well known youtuber, has lot's of videos which show the exact problem with apple eco system.

You are not buying apple products because you haven't tried any.
I use apple devices since the origins of time and still using many of them that are 15 years old. That wouldn't be possible with trashable pc devices that last no more than a year if you are lucky and didn't catch the most recent trending virus.

Well, you are correct.. I mean.. sort of. I haven't really used an apple computer or an iphone, other than occasional office usage (iphone, not that much but I do regularly have to use a mac, as I work as a frontend developer.. and not to mention.. Safari is a PITA). I haven't, not because I do not have money to buy it. I didn't, because I didn't like their eco system. I totally love their GUI. Make no mistake about that. The thing I hate is their after sales service & the restriction (u can't connect to this and that and bla). After hearing such horrifying stories from believable sources; I have always stayed away from them.
On the other hand.. If I do not buy the latest iPhone, I could easily buy a mid budget android phone and if I add some more bucks; I can actually buy a pretty decent and upgrade-able PC/laptop. You will say, what about the OS? Well, I love how android looks and feels right now, so I won't have a problem. As for the PC, I can always go with a hackintosh build, or better.. I will just use Windows 10.. lol.
but yeah.. Not sure, but I might look into buying an iphone at the end of this year; just because I want to learn how to make iphone apps (I would probably need more.. some license may be? Not sure.. total noob in that field). That's offtopic though.
Edit: Oh, and not to mention.. Macs are not something alien. They also have similar components like a PC. Just the fact that they are made in such a way that you won't be able to modify/upgrade anything at your will. Check the Louis Rossmann video I shared. The board looks like a horror story. You must have been very lucky that your hardware survived for 15 years.

United States spying half of the world (NSA, Edward Snowden etc.) and now they come around and block Huawei? Srsly? How about China should ban Apple? Or even better: Stop letting them produce their products in Chinese factories? Which countries are going to block Google, Facebook, Instagram, Apple, Amazon etc. for "spying"? People even put "Alexa" (Amazon) and other stuff like this in their home, which can listen to them any time. Nobody questions this stuff, but when Apple sales are going downhill, because they got totally overpriced phones and chinese phones are rising, because the quality gets better and the price is better, than you gonna block the shit out of it and call it "spy"? Fucking mental.

You get what you pay for. Bad apple propaganda is made for pc users feeling sad abut having to change their equipment cause the last os had more bugs that the previous one, not to mention they live terrified about virus diseases.
Pc's were meant to use office and solitaire. That's as much as they can do

Depends on where you live. Inside China, every phone uses the open source version of Android and people typically download the app store of their choice. This move won't affect Huawei in China (by far its biggest market) but it will have large impacts outside of it, particularly in South and South East Asia and Africa, their fastest growing markets

My master race PC (acer x34 monitor + intel i7-6959X processor(with liquid cooling) + ROG Rampage V 10 Edition Motherboard + GTX1080ti SLI gpu(with liquid cooling) + Steam software.

Its year of 2019. Yet people still talk about PC virus.
I have exp using mac, pfff. I still prefer PC, bunch of open source application or software that made my life more easier are build for PC that i can download it free and use, and of course gaming experience on PC are just insane.
But when it comes to android vs ios.
I already use both, and I choose ios. It's clean, smooth, non laggy, and last longer even after 3-4 years it still feel like I just bought it yesterday.
After all, all depends on your own preference.

I just picked up an iPhone SE, still quite buttery in 2019. Side note, this $150 CAD phone will beat any mid-range android phone for playing Pokemon Go.

I believe that Huawei have their backup plan and able to solve this big issue.
As I know, Huawei will using Mozilla Firefox as their search engine in their phone, about the google play store, they will using their own Huawei Store, maybe have other name, I not sure what name it is.
Otherwise, Intel company announced that they will stop supply the sparepart for Huawei phone, I think this issue will solve easily by Huawei also because I just see some news from China there and said that they already have their own sparepart.
My opinion is. They will be more strong when all bad thing happen on their side.

As I know, everytime when iPhone have new version software update, you can update it depends on the version.
Like example.
Current Version: 12.1
New Update Version: 12.1.1
If after currently version like 12.1."1", it should be testing version and might will make your phone not stable. May wait until 12.2/12.3 update after this based on my experience, it will more stable if you skip the testing version.
