This has been out there since this summer, but just a few hours ago he lost the extradition case. Damn, England isn't anymore what it used to be.

Ok, I'm an American Patriot and I do not support this. It would be one thing if he was a terrorist or something. But for a movie site? This is a waste of taxpayer dollars.

Sounds like some lobbyist somewhere wanted to set an example.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if the lobbyists for SOPA pulled some strings to make this happen to help the passing of the bill. F*cking dirtball politicians.

What I find scary is this the US government doing the bidding of private
    corporations.

I'm too scared to wear my pepsi tshirt today.

Every jailed people cost to US gov from $400 to $700 per month. So I really don't think that he will jailed. If he will be extradited to US - he'll be released on bond ( if he got money sure. ) until trial ends and he will get fine ( yes, we talk not about 50-10k fine.. ), not imprisonment.

Good luck for him :) he's business guy and from our side!

The real scandal is that what he's being extradited for isn't even illegal in the UK and he never left the country anyway.

Similar case to Gary MacKinnon who the US are trying to extradite from the UK under the same one-sided agreement - he hacked US government computers trying to find evidence of aliens (he's Aspergic so give him a break - it would be funny if it happened in a sitcom) but was partly able to do what he did so easily because so many passwords were set to 'password'. One of his legal arguments apparently is that it can't be hacking if a password is set to 'password'!

PIPA, SOPA and all this crap really does show how out of touch the US legislature is with the ordinary living human beings of this world. When right wing candidates like Mitt Romney are being lambasted for speaking French of all things you really do have to question the sanity of many of those in high office.

    you're very wrong...

he will get jail just like the chick from *****video...she got 22 months in a state prison of which 85% has to be served.

the cost is going to your tax dollars especially when the US govt had no business in him any way.

    I feel for the guy!
