Reviving a niche blog in 2013? Not a "how to" this is a question.

I have a blog that has a PR 2 and about 50 posts of 400 -600 words. It has been stagnating for some time. At least a year. It is in the addiction niche so it has pretty high paying Google Adsense but, no other monetization.

I put its URLs in GSA and began running GSA using 15 Golden Rule Keywords from Market Samurai.

What else should I be doing?

    Possibly useful additional info:
It does have a Twitter Feed but I don't know if it works. It used to.
Its Wassup Plugin in Wordpress claims 600 hits a day with the No Spider/No Spam filter on but, reviewing the logs shows tons of hits from plugins (possibly running cron jobs, I don't really know, I don't understand it). Google Analytics shows about 20 hits per day.
None of the content is stolen/spun. I wrote everything myself and then let it die on the vine.

What should I do with this site to get it on track? Or is there some kind of new blueprint for blogging in 2013. One thing is that the niche has a huge amount of long tail keywords so my ability to add pages if needed is high. Probably another hundred to add without really re-hashing the same exact subject.
