Hey guys, I want to make a review site and was wondering what format you think would convert better. Like a well organized professional looking site or a personal blog. I tend, just out of habit, to over design sites and go with the professional sites. I have been looking around though and to me personal blog looking review sites kind of seem more legitimate. What is your opinion on the matter?

I think a better question is how much text and at what density should you use. Design is pretty much anything that looks good and mimics real review sites.

Well organized professional site, written in a personal tone. Depending on your niche, I like these types of sites because they can be easily expanded on, and they also give the user a little bit of trust right away that this is a real site and not some sort of scammy affiliate site like you see everywhere. I build my sites with the intention of being proud to show them to anyone and provide real value to the visitors. This has worked well for me so far.
