i couldnt really find info on this...

let's say i registered an URL called domain.com

i would use domain.com to redirect to an affiliate offer.

so in adwords, i'd set it up and put it as domain.com as the destination url etc. so then it would redirect to an affilate offer like affiliateoffer.com/xyz

what if i wanted then...anybody that manually typed in domain.com to go to a non-affiliate link. so type in domain.com and it goes to affiliateoffer.com w/o my affiliate cookie.

adwords: domain.com redirects to affiliateoffer.com/xyz (with affiliate cookie)
natural search or just typing it in: domain.com redirects to affiliateoffer.com (with no affiliate cookie).

you can check the referer through php

if it contains something (if the persons comes from "somewhere") then it's safe to presume that he clicked on an adwords link or he came from another website from where your site is linked

if the referer is blank just redirect him to the offer without cookies

You can check the referring URL, as lord said. In terms of using redirects with AdWords, though, Google doesn't allow you to redirect to a domain that's different from the domain in your display URL.
