This has to be one of the saddest things I've ever seen in my life to be honest.

Looking for someone new on Upwork to write 30 articles in food niche. Each article will be 1000 words with multiple subheaders.

You will also have to follow a standard SOP that I will be sharing.

The rate is $2 per article but will leave a 5 star rating for satisfactory completion of work. I'm very generous with my feedback (check my ratings). And the ratings will go a long way for your new Upwork profile and will hopefully get you more jobs here.

Now the best part...
"Write to me personally why you want the job and do address me by my name. (PS: I delete all copy/paste proposal and proposal that starts with hello sir)"

Ok, he got me...

The thing is, he will get people who're interested. Still no reason to screw people over like this.

He left 280 reviews and has a 86% hire rate. I'm sure that wasn't his first time.

I'm wondering if he will leave a bad review in case he didn't like the 2 bucks article.

This is absolutely gnignigni.. I have no other words to describe this

I don't see anything so dramatic here tbh.

As competition on those platforms is enormous, some freelancers are willing to work even for free to build up their profile.

I did the same but with software development, you cant just jump there and expect your high bids to get approved.

There was a time I sent my bids with "I will do this for free in exchange for a good review".

Yes, 30k words for 60$ is a harsh ratio, but there is always room for negotiation.

For example, work could be split in batches so freelancer gets 10 reviews for example.

That reminds me of the guys who would run contests to see who could get their site ranked back in the day.

They would offer like 3K to the winner for whatever KW he gave them and all the other SEOs (I use that term loosely in this instance) would get nothing for their efforts and the guy would get well over 10K in SEO services easily doing that.

The problem is not the seller or the guys that ran those contests... it is the rubes that fall for it.

I will reply with this"Dearr sirr john dick alot I am master writter please get back to me but please send payment first and call me Lord Yogi bear "

It is how ad agencies worked from the year dot before the internet!

Design this branding, this campaign etc and if we use it we pay you.

Except they were worse, got their inhouse "designer" to copy and tweak it and then never paid!

But they do know if they do not receive the gift then they can hammer there sites with crappy links :D

Maybe some freelancer from a very poor country will agree to write (compose from pieces of existing phrases on the Internet) 30 articles. If the customer does not check the work very carefully, then, in principle, everything is in order.

For a second I read 1000 articles. Wew!!
Even 30 articles for a review is an article too much.
Anyway, just buy reviews already.
