Majestic seo, alexa, and google keyword planner (although this wont give you the keywords they are trying to rank for, it will derive a list of keywords pulled from their website.. which might be the same thing)

SEMRush.com will show you all the keywords your competitor is ranking for, along with the KW search volume and position. IMO, that's the best way (and easiest) to get the data.

just check their backlinks' anchor text, will give you an idea about what they're trying to rank for.

Do a scan with google to get a list of root keywords, use them in keyword planner to search further, cull out this list, and run it thru a rank tracker.

There are many ways to do this :

    1) Best method : Plug in their website in SEMRUSH and look for the keywords they are ranking for in Google currently.

    2) Use MajesticSEO to determine their anchor text distribution to get an idea what they are optimizing their link building campaign for.

    3) Plug in their site in Google Keyword Planner and look for their keywords. (Note: This is not as specific as Semrush)

    4) Use SEO quake to get a an idea of their keyword density.

That's pretty much it. Good luck m8.
