BEWARE OF THIS SCAM NETWORK REVENYOU.


here is the quick version of my story.


I was using PPD for my websites earlier and revenyou affiliate manager "Roy Levi" contacted me and asked me to shift to his PPI Network i.e. Revenyou. The first thing i did was to show him my websites and my traffic . after looking at my websites he told me that my traffic was perfect for revenyou. and so i started using this network. since then i hav been in regular contact with my affiliate manager Roy Levi and he also helped me setup the custom download links directly to my websites. He always knew my websites and my download pages. SInce then i have been paid 3-4 times by revenyou.


Now suddenly a few days ago Roy levi went offline and later another affiliate manager contacted me saying that roy levi has left the company and he is my affiliate manager . so again the first thing i did was to show him my websites and asked him if my websites and traffic are fine for revenyou as i dont want any payment issues later on. after looking at my websites and traffic he said that my traffic is PERFECT. Fine so i continued using the network.


Now today i recieved this email from revenyou.

After deep internal investigation of your account at RevenYou.com we found violations of our distribution agreement.
We can't support any fraud activity on our platform. It is strictly prohibited to create fake installs on RevenYou.com.
 
Due to these violations of our policy your account has been blocked immediately and all payments will be withheld.

And they banned my account and my new affiliate manager blocked my skype contact.
Awesome....






My last month's earnings was about $3000 and till this month my earning are another $1000.

So Beware of this scam network. doesnt matter what their affiliate manager says dont trust them ......

LOL, really man ? Really ? Like , EVERY, affiliate network does this... I thought you knew it. Affiliate network is like a star. It has initial stage, mid stage, and the ending stage. At ending sage, it scams the shit out of everyone. Why ? Because they can!

Diversification is the key :)

Source: Haven't seen affiliate network that says "sorry, we will be closing on xxx date"

It just doesn't happen in the interwebz.

Even in real world. When company goes bankrupt it doesn't pay peoples salaries. You may get some shitty money from government safety funds or things like that but you are still screwed.

If you have written proof of 2 different people from the company approving your traffic, you've probably got enough evidence to pursue them legally.

For $4K it's at least worth having your lawyer send them a letter of intent
 
I wish i could but i am not a US resident. If there's a way to take action against them then please do tell me as i dont want this to go unnoticed.

Many bad reviews on Revenyou. Will holding multiple accounts and distributing the traffic help?

If it was not obvious, we cannot support fraud installs. We have an obligation to our advertisers and to our legit publishers to get and supply only legit installs.


Two important points:
a. we are good in detecting fraud, and, we are getting even better.
b. There are 0 false positives. Fraud traffic has technical and behavioral characteristics that cannot appear in legit traffic.

You tell me now that my Traffic was fraud then prove it.

I have been repeatedly told my my affiliate managers that my traffic was perfect. not once or twice but atleast 10 times .Dont worry i will post those screenshots too.

For starters here are some of the conversation with my affiliate managers

1) Screenshot of email by my aff manager appreaciating my traffic and worrying why my traffic was dropped and how can he help to increase it.

Still you say that my traffic was fraud and bann me. Dont worry i will post lot more conversation screenshot with my previous affiliate manager where he kept praising my traffic. and where he personally looked in my website and helped me fix some ppi codes . Unfortunately i dont have those skype logs on my desktop but i still have them on my mobile so it will take time to get those screenshots.


5) I have been paid thrice by revenyou already.Here is the proof

You guys kept doing your cheesy talks and convinced me to slowly divert all my traffic to your network and when i did it you banned me and stole all my money by claiming that my traffic was fraud? I ask you ,why dint your so called awesome fraud detection system detected my fraudn for last 3 month ???

Just when google chrome started taking heavy action against PPI network and blocking their download you guys started this bullshit by banning your affiliates and claiming that they are fraud.

I am ready to post all my google analytics reports of all my websites i used with Revenyou to prove that my traffic was 100% legit.
Now you tell me how was i a fraud...
 
If RevenYou noticed the fraud installs BEFORE the guy made $4000, then they should pay it back to advertisers also, and show us that they did. Then there is question, why didn't they tell about the fraud installs before?
If RevenYou noticed the fraud installs AFTER the guy made $4000, then pay the guy this $4000 (this was all clean), and in such case you will def not be paying back to advertisers.
RevenYou, you need to give better proof from your side if you don't want to pay the guy his money.

i also banned 2 month before after getting 1st payment and i have the same account manager "Roy Levi"...
 
Be aware Members Revenyou will be added to scam list, they will scam suddenly in a large scale.. :boink:
 
Fucking scammers! I feel sorry for you man, such a big amount and work.. I do not even know why you guys use PPI, I have much better results using CPA, and I do not have to worry about promoting shitty files.
 
LOL I got this same e-mail today, and my account was banned as well.

My installs were coming from softonic.com and my website ONLY. There was absolutely ZERO fraud. No false positives my ass lol.
I'm just glad they didn't take me for as much money as the OP. But then...I never scaled up because their reporting and earnings never made sense to me, they were shaving from the start.

I even contacted to ask why I had so many installs without any earnings..and they replied "maybe you have fake installs".
HA!

Instead of saying something like, "if a user doesn't complete the install our system still shows it as an install but you don't get paid." they jump right into a setup for false installs.

I'm quite sure they will make excuses all day, but their "fraud tracking" sucks ass.

Now that you mentioned this i can recall that i have seen similar weird stats.
i had three Download distribution but i was using only two and the third had had only couple of hits from here and there. but in last two three days i had seen a lot of successful installs even when the 'started install' was not even half , with no earnings.
But i dint pay much attention to it as this happened earlier too and when i asked my affiliate manger he told me he have no idea but assured me that it wont affect my account status.

I wonder if their own faulty tracking system is causing all these banns or its intentional ....

I'm pretty sure OP is right about this whole thing. Anyway, since I've never trusted desktop PPI network much and Chrome & Antivirus software were craking hard on these installers, I do always recommend to go for a content locking instead which perfectly fits the PPD niche too.

There are plenty of trusted content locking networks you can find. Personally I use cpagrip for desktop traffic and ogmobi for mobile. Adscendmedia is great too.

You must be aware that PPI network are and will always be shady. They are paying you to install adware on people computers. What kind of business is this really? It is really grey hat and I doubt they will ever stay in the business for long since it's close to being illegal.
Most of them are based in Israel, and you will not be able to claim your money back because they know what they are doing. Their clients are shady networks that are looking to infect network on a huge scale.

Don't ever trust a PPI network, go instead for a PPD network.
