I have a question for the community. I just started in a new niche, astrology, which I have never targeted before. I have a choice with a psychic program that I joined. It pays either 100.00 cpa or 50% Lifetime rev share. Because I have never used this niche I don't know what is better. Some people tell me that once sucked in to a psychic people can spend tons of money which point me towards rev share but I also hear those type of people are far and few between. On the other hand 100.00 cpa for a 20.00 Sale seems tempting as well. If any of you have any experience in the psychic niche I would love to know your input.

I would say CPA first and if people stay, switch to rev share. Or 50/50 of your leads into both.

I would guess CPA in the psychic niche because once people realize it's a scam, they won't spend anymore money. There must be a few people that stick with it though.

It depends. If you contact an AM they should be able to tell you what the deal is. You just have to know why they'd risk such a high CPA. They could have the retention that lets the rebills pay off for them over time, or they may be upselling like crazy or lord knows what. Most of the time though it just comes down to whether you or they make more money in the long term and if you want to wait.

Also remember if you're CPA and you don't maintain a retention level you're gonna get shitcanned. The house doesn't lose.

I prefer CPA over rev. share, just because it's fixed per lead (forget the shaving for a moment lol) and it's a good way to test the background of your website's monetizing basis, which cpa offer works better for which audience. Also, generating leads for a CPA campaign is easier in my opinion, just from the experience i have had, it was easier to get one time payment from people than recurring payments over time.
