Hey guys

I recently just built a website for a friend who's starting a motivational/inspirational clothing company.

On the main page of this website is a header and a paragraph of text that explains exactly what this company is all about. Now Im in the process of building links by submitting his URL to various places like Squidoo, Digg, etc...

Is it safe to reuse that header and paragraph from the main site on sites like these? Or should I have them rewritten and/or paraphrased to make the content seem unique to search engines? Will I see a negative effect in search engine rankings if I copy and paste the content from site to site over and over again?

use different variations of the keywords that you like to use as your link anchor text and web sites like digg and so are nofollow links so it doesn't matter so much but digg can rank well so you should pick a long keyword phrase and title than there are more chances to rank well through digg with the search engines.

Okay, I wouldn't do that, although I have no testing to back up what I just said, just paranoia. Just reword it, and reuse that reworded text to promote with.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah Im rewording them, I have a few variations that are fairly unique from one another. So far so good :D
