Retail Store Supplier question help !

    hey, would this be a good way to get marketing sales?

    basically, as a supplier/middle man in import/export. basically i import products and then sell to stores/buyers.
    would it work if i called up a potential buyer and told them that i could sell them products in bulk... would they ask me what type of products?

    say that the product had alot of variety.. but i didnt have the list. ill tell them that it will take me 2 days to get the price and a week to deliver. they just have to tell me what to get them and ill get it.

    is that a professional way of doing this when marketing for customers?

    as a retail store owner.. do they care if it will take 2 days to get the price of the items they want .. or do they want to ask me what kind of items i have?

    You need to be well informed about your products to be convincing as a salesperson otherwise you won't have confidence in what you're doing. You also won't inspire confidence in the customer.
