just was scammed by this person, I didn't see he was banned already. I lost 200 dollars. it is stupid.
I think he was legit ...

And he just sent me this when i sent his payment to laugh at me. We dont need those scammers in our industry..
that was hell

@BassTrackerBoats there's a high chance that the guy who scammed me earlier @GoldKing has bought another bhw account and been trying to scam more members using his shitty fake id, voice, and services. the account in question is LordCreepy.

I've attached my chat with him below for comparison with his banned account's writing style and service offering.
the images 1 & 2 are for his new account's telegram while 3 & 4 for his banned one.

so be careful if you deal with him, guys!

Why are you doing business off site instead of the protection of using BHW's DM feature?

Handling the transaction via private message on the forum gives the staff the ability to track everything from beginning to end.
ah, well. sending dm's isn't as convenient as using instant messaging services for most people especially when there's a negotiation for a deal.

Obviously, it’s him. I’ve been watching him for 4 weeks.

Miles Thatcher does not exist. He’s a fake persona pretending to be a Blackhat Ads Specialist from Malta. They used SMM panels to increase Instagram followers, likes, and views, as well as Telegram group subscribers to make it look more believable.

They prey on newbies, luring them outside of BHW onto Telegram, where the scam is executed.

It’s the same guy, always the same guy.

Once the scam is complete and someone opens a Dispute Resolution thread, he posts an essay mocking other members and the Staff.

Two main ways to be scammed online:
1. Using IM (Skype / Telegram / Etc.)
2. Paying by Crypto / PP F&F

what if I used the forum's dm but paid with crypto / pp f&f? wouldn't I still risk getting scammed?
it's all about using one-way payment systems like the ones you've mentioned.
only an escrow system can protect the buyer in such cases.

Why you would pay using friends and family if the person you are doing business with is neither makes no sense. It is actually fraud.

Paying with Crypto is also non refundable and I don't buy or sell that way.

A middleman/escrow is available at Escrow.com and they do a pretty good job over there.

I don't think you understood me, sir. I was just pointing out that the forum's dm system cannot offer protection for the buyer.
its primary function is to provide moderators with the complete, unedited conversation between the buyer and seller as proof, if needed.

on the other hand, we should not conduct any online transactions using one-way payment methods like crypto or paypal f&f.
these methods pose a significant risk of being non-refundable, as you mentioned, unless the buyer uses a secure payment system such as escrow.com or similar services.

regarding the other account of that serial scammer/psycho, if I may ask, are you willing to take any action against him?
it's frustrating to think that our members might soon get scammed by him. we'll end up seeing dispute threads filed against him that result in his ban, but not before he walks away with the victims' money.

Interesting conversation,

Well if everyone(or many) used only BHW DM for communication, that would surely track and kill the scammer faster.

Same goes for accepting the way of payment. Seems like buyers are desperate and willing to agree on 'everything' to get their stuff.

No wonder the scammer is rushing back to the forum?

Few possible solutions:

Insist that you want to pay with your preferred payment method, no matter what.

Carefully read text. If someone is saying I charge usually about $200
Then you must conclude you're dealing with a scammer right away.

Serious seller do not use word usually and about.
Same goes for other random words that impact the chat.

Someone who's serious is down to closing the business, accepting workaround, not throwing words around. Learn to notice that.

Try to learn things. What someone is selling is not something you cannot achieve yourself.

Learn how it's done. Actually, most of the product people end up being scammed for, are so simple to get with the money you give to scammers. It is very similar at least.

Force yourself to do things you don't like in business. The impact would be bigger and better than you may think.

hello,
we had a deal of advertising my grey business on meta using his ad accounts.
we agreed on a payment of $220 where $200 should be paid upfront and next 20 USD for budgetl,
A next day later, he said "seems like im having a hard time topping up my vcc. the minimum deposit is 200 dollars. Id need 150 dollars to top up my vcc. I had never faced this problem before as my clients usually send me their ad budget for the week. So its usually more than 200" which is a common scamming move to scam the buyer for more. I can provide the mods with our full chat history if needed. I have all screenshots, I already setup thread, by op delete I dont know why... So strange because this guy will be scams more people in this way.

Can someone tell me who is moderator on this forum ?

There are a bunch of Moderators on this forum.

I didn't see your post but my guess is it was denied for lack of going through the due process as listed here:

yes, thread was rejected but this man will continue to scam others and I found his contact on this forum and this is where it all started so maybe the thread shouldn't be deleted ?

You need to provide all the required elements so we can help... without that information/content our hands are tied.

Go through this link, step by step and resubmit it properly please - https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/dispute-resolution-rules-procedures.1246633/

The post had everything written including screenshots from the telegram conversation. As I mentioned, the contact for this person was found on this forum, the number of posts and the time they were written for him made me feel safe, unfortunately this man is a scammer and his actions are predetermined to be a scam.

It did not have all the elements... I saw the deleted post.

Here are the required elements to open a dispute resolution thread:

Dispute Resolution Procedure
  • Reach out to the other party using all reasonable forms of contact.
  • Inform the other party on Black Hat World of your intention to create a Dispute Resolution thread about them.
  • If the other party does not respond after 8 hours, open a Dispute Resolution thread using the instructions below.
  • A moderator will respond to your thread once they're ready to review your case. If insufficient information has been provided, you'll be sent an alert to resubmit the thread, or you may be asked to submit the extra information in the same thread depending on how minor the issues are.
  • We will mediate the dispute via a group conversation (unless the accused does not respond to the conversation in the allotted time) before setting the Dispute Resolution thread live. Note that in some cases, we may expedite a Dispute Resolution thread by making the thread live first.
  • The accused will have 24 hours to respond and will be prohibited from engaging in other activities on the forum whilst we await their initial response.
Instructions For Submitting A Dispute Resolution Thread

A list of everything you need to include in your Dispute Resolution post is below. Please note that you must state your case clearly and concisely.
  • Link or screenshot proof that the transaction began on BHW.
  • Screenshot proof that you informed the other party of your intention to post a Dispute Resolution thread about them 48 hours beforehand.
  • Screenshot proof that you tried every reasonable form of contact before opening the Dispute Resolution thread.
  • A brief summary of your dispute with the accused (e.g., failure to deliver the product or service)
  • What you need from the accused to consider this resolved. Examples include a refund or a replacement.
Ensure you check your Dispute Resolution thread daily as you will not receive any alerts for responses in your thread until it goes live.

Mandatory Template

Please title your thread using the following format:

Dispute: @yourusernamehere v. @theotheraccount

In the event that you do not use this title format, a moderator will adjust your title accordingly.

Now, when you submit your Dispute Resolution, please use the following format as this makes it easier for everyone involved.
  • Proof that the transaction began on BHW: (Submit a link to a post or conversation showing that this issue began on BHW. A link to the sales thread is not sufficient)
  • Proof the other party has been informed of this Dispute Resolution: (Submit a screenshot of you informing the other party here)
  • Proof of Contact: (Submit screenshots showing that you have tried every reasonable form of contact such as emails, Skype, support tickets, etc)
  • Proof of Transaction: (Proof that you purchased the product or service (i.e., a service agreement or an order receipt)
  • Dispute Summary: (In roughly five sentences or less, concisely go over the issue)
  • Evidence of the Issue: (Post screenshots or video evidence of the issues you encountered with the other party)
  • What you hope to gain from this Dispute Resolution: (State whether you wish to receive a refund or a replacement)
  • (Optional) Additional Information: (If you need to go over the issue in more detail, please use this section to describe it)
