(if admin don't like I post here then he can move my thread to a better category)

So I have found this gig on fiverr offering 3D modelling and I have asked permission from the guy if I sould resell his 3D modelling services. He agreed.

Want I'm looking for with starting this tread is suggestions on how to get targeted traffic to this service. I have tried with no luck posting my serivce on 3D modelling forums. Right now I'm considering if I should post an advert on backpage.com, but not sure that is the best approach. Maybe I should post on fiverr that I want targeted traffic to my 3D modelling service?

Here I'm thinking somethign easy so I can test my service. Don't like to create a website, rank it and wait for months until I see it get traffic and can see if this is a good business or not....

May be marketplaces like Guru, Elance, Freelancer will help you grab some good paying jobs which you can get them done by this Fiverr provider. Get his portfolio, and select some of the best of his work, take his written permission to advertise those on any site, and begin a profitable JV.

Later will come a dedicated site, keywords research, Adwords campaigns if you're courageous :), offline marketing for similar products -- 2D graphics etc., etc. In the meanwhile, find someone else as good as, or a better expert than this guy, so that you've a team at your hand, and you won't be dependent on a single provider's moods...

I don't mean no offense here, but basically, you just found a gig on fiverr and ... that's it ?

you have no idea how to resell it, to who, the market etc etc. I think you're talking IM by the wrong end. Start finding what brings traffic, what interest people AND THEN find a suitable product.

For 3D artist, a professional looking website and portfolio is a must. If he does only 3D modelling, maybe try some game developing studios. Some of them hire freelancers.
