Required: Web hosting that allows adult content and has good uptime. Help.

Hey guys,
I'm looking for a web host, on which I'll have about 20-25 sites. Some of the sites will have adult content. I need a host with good uptime. I will have slow, steady traffic throughout the day and no bursts of high traffic.
I was looking at HostGator, but I read an article that they don't have the best reliability in terms of uptime. Also, I don't want to pay more than $10 per month on hosting.
What would you guys suggest?

hostgator is good for small to medium sites and it is ok with adult. It is really big company and yeah they have downtimes from time to time..
