I don`t ask a lot from this community, but now I definitly need your help guys.

I`ve started a niche community in the gay sector a few months ago.. As the concept
is quite good I have awesome OptIn rates (25%) for targeted traffic from different sources.
Currently there are 1000+ Members and the website is multilingual + responsive.
But as I have no budget atm to spend for this website I am fucked up !!

So I am not able to buy good traffic anymore for the next months and I search for easy sources?
Help anyone? I am happy for every advice!!!

Why not start monetizing your member base and buy traffic with the proceeds?

Its part of the strategie not to seem like a money making website so this is no option :(

Worse case, if they are engaged and you offer real value, you can always use the "costs of running the site is killing me, every $ helps, please donate to help the community stay alive" Wikipedia style angle.

^^^ This.

If you don't want to appear as a for profit/money making site then requesting donations to cover your costs would be OK

Hahahaha I dont want to use my private paypal accout for this gay site :D

Is there another way?

I do not see why not but if that is an issue set up an LLC and a new PP account or tie a different email to that accoutn and have people use that for donations.

Send a good weekly newsletter. This is what you do so that doesn't cost you a dime either...

1. I imagine you have a blog on this site - if not, create one.

2. Send a email to your list of 1,000 members inviting them to be guest contributors - there is surely some people that would love that. You can probably get 20 writers immediately.

3. Publish the content on a regular basis - to get those 1,000 coming back - and when they start sharing the content on social media you will build that user base quickly.

4. Each week send your newsletter out that is a recap of your weekly content - linking to each article - (and use something like mailchimp to track clicks and list engagement)

5. Use adsense - but don't throw 3 ad units up like everyone else. Just use 1. Find a good place - sidebar or somewhere prominent - and put some text above the ad such as "Something you might like" - and watch your CTR shoot to the sky. People are so used to seeing 3 ad units...and automatically "ads" register in their mind. Simply placing a single one on the site mind fucks them...and all of the sudden it isn't an ad...it is something they might be interested in.

6. Once your newsletter list is larger start to drop in some really targeted (and high paying) CPA offers. If you have a list of 5k and getting new subscribers daily who cares if a few drop off because of an offer built in.

Good luck.

Hell netmoney1 you are awesome :)

what is stopping me currently from sending newsletters is my setup.
I have the possibility to send newsletters but the inbox rate is horrible.
I get approx 20 Klicks from 1 Newsletter and 2 SingOut requests.
I have a power Server (Bulldozer level) for this site so this would be no problem in the future.
But I am struggeling with this shitty inboxrate and I don`t knew why it`s so bad.
I can not use mailchimp as I have no connection to it from the community and an implementation would cost
me more then I could pay. I have an own script that can send newsletters with the name of the user.

And no, I have no Blog but I had this idea already. This twist from you with guest posters from the own community is genius!

I do not think the people will donate at the moment :) they are not associatet enough

You can import your list to mailchimp...then simply create new opt in forms etc on your site to catch new ones and put them directly into your list. You can have up to 2k subscribers on their free account. Your inbox rate will be so much better and you will have a lot of nice date to use.
