Does any one do that and if so what software do you use? thanks

You could use Video DownloadHelper...it's a addon for FF ->

Theres a program called Replay Media Catcher that I use and also vdownloader downloads from myspace and other similar sites now so check that out also

i use the FF addon too, but there is this site called file2hd.com if you enter the video URL in there, it will strip the video and just right click, then save as.

There are have lots of tools can download video from Myspace, but I am only use StreamTransport, The app is able to browse and download video clips from video hosting websites of HTTP, RTMP, RTMPT, RTMPE, RTMPTE protocol, and these cover overwhelming majority of websites such as Hulu, Myspace, Veoh, Boxee, Joost, YouTube, Yahoo Video, CBS, etc.
