REQ: Automaticly check expired domains

Is there a (free) way to check registered domains, when they expire (so I got a mail from this service)

I know at least a few hunderd domains wich don't have a good site on it. So I wish to have some tool who checks automaticly all those domains if a domain will come in expire fase, so I can register that domain quickly.
