Hello, I'm operating my dropshipping software as a sole proprietorship in India and I'm stuck on how to accept payments from my users. I used to use Paypal but got tired of them pocketing 8-9% of money with their high transaction charges and truly atrocious conversion rates. Fuckem.

What I want is for my users to able to pay with a credit card with total fee under 3% (I mean fuck, I can't ask my users to do a wire transfer and then process it manually every time!). Simple enough. But Stripe, Google checkout, Payeer, Transferwise and Payoneer don't offer their full services here in India (because RBI says fuck you that's why). 2Checkout is again pricey. Xoom used to be an alternative but looks like Paypal bought and neutered them.

Razorpay.com looked wonderful. After a month of submitting documents, they tell me "International payments require separate approval from their banking partners and it will take 4-8 weeks (Reasonable enough, I mean reviewing some documents and replying with a yes/no takes minimum 1 month ofc.). Also, we need to see some transactions ongoing for 2-3 weeks before we can process that." So yeah, they need to see transactions to approve me and I need approval to process transactions. FML.

Is there another alternative to process international card payments? I have the business registration done and current bank account all set up. Just need a gateway that doesn't take months for approval. Or is that too much to ask and I just have to suck it up and use Paypal?

PS: Fuck RBI and fuck Indian Govt. with rusty shovels. We Indians are so proud of our service sector boom but they could give a fuck about making things easy for freelancers or online businesses. Oh they don't miss shit when it comes to tax us and gargle salty farmers' nuts while showering them with loan waivers out of our tax money because that's where the votes come from, don't they? I hope their dicks fall off.

PPS: I know I sound bitter but I'm really stressed out for months over this. Your advice is truly appreciated.

    Code:
    CCAvenue.com
    EBS.in
    CitrusPay.com
    DirecPay.com
    AtomTech.in
    Zaakpay.com
    PayUmoney.com
    PayUbiz.in
    https://uat2.whizpay.net
These are the main payment processors in India. I've excluded payment processing services provided by banks. But please go to these websites and check if they accept international transactions or not.

    Hope this helps.

Is Bitcoin viable in India? If so, I'd be seriously looking into a crypto payment solution.

I'm guessing millions of people in India will start using BTC since they've been restricting online payment systems like Paypal. But you're right, this may not be immediately enforceable.

Yeah, there are wallets like zebpay and unocoin where you can convert INR to BTC and vice versa. But like Tux says, won't work for my clients.

Transferwise have this awesome thing "Money without borders" where you can exchange currencies at market rate and wire it to yourself at minimum fees. Unfortunately they don't offer this service in India. Hope they do soon. Also, I'd accepted money from a client in the form of an entropay card. Tried to wire it to myself using Transferwise, but they don't allow uploading funds using a credit card. (Xoom does but only accepts US cards, entropay not allowed). Gotta be another way for now but I think Transferwise is a good service on which to keep an eye out in the future.

Thanks for the tip. I'll check out these 3. They just might work. Wish me luck. :D

I tried more than 10 different acquiring platforms and find the best - FastSpring . You can accept most popular CC, Amazon, PayPal and couple of different payment services for specific countries. And one of the features is that you can withdraw funds ti Payoneer CC.
    And also very adeqate support.
