Hello, I'm operating my dropshipping software as a sole proprietorship in India and I'm stuck on how to accept payments from my users. I used to use Paypal but got tired of them pocketing 8-9% of money with their high transaction charges and truly atrocious conversion rates. Fuckem. What I want is for my users to able to pay with a credit card with total fee under 3% (I mean fuck, I can't ask my users to do a wire transfer and then process it manually every time!). Simple enough. But Stripe, Google checkout, Payeer, Transferwise and Payoneer don't offer their full services here in India (because RBI says fuck you that's why). 2Checkout is again pricey. Xoom used to be an alternative but looks like Paypal bought and neutered them. Razorpay.com looked wonderful. After a month of submitting documents, they tell me "International payments require separate approval from their banking partners and it will take 4-8 weeks (Reasonable enough, I mean reviewing some documents and replying with a yes/no takes minimum 1 month ofc.). Also, we need to see some transactions ongoing for 2-3 weeks before we can process that." So yeah, they need to see transactions to approve me and I need approval to process transactions. FML. Is there another alternative to process international card payments? I have the business registration done and current bank account all set up. Just need a gateway that doesn't take months for approval. Or is that too much to ask and I just have to suck it up and use Paypal? PS: Fuck RBI and fuck Indian Govt. with rusty shovels. We Indians are so proud of our service sector boom but they could give a fuck about making things easy for freelancers or online businesses. Oh they don't miss shit when it comes to tax us and gargle salty farmers' nuts while showering them with loan waivers out of our tax money because that's where the votes come from, don't they? I hope their dicks fall off. PPS: I know I sound bitter but I'm really stressed out for months over this. Your advice is truly appreciated.
