So I?m working on this site which has been given bad reviews on some review sites and the reviews are on the first place on google for the brand name. What is the minimum investment I can make (in terms of time and money) to push those results on the 2nd page? Is there any step by step process for reputation management? Thanks for your help.

This may be unethical, but... I wouldn't bother with pushing the results. I would "bribe" the review site owners to delete those negative reviews. And actually... it's still more ethical than negative SEO.

If you don't know how to do online rep management, you should really refer your client to someone who does. Pushing the results shouldn't be to difficult if your willing to put some time and effort in. The only thing with Online rep management is that it can get costly to push everything down with setting up properties and such.

Create a ton of properties targeting the keyword, say Hotel A has shit reviews on some site which users can't add their own. I would create a few properties reviewing hotels in the local area and stuff, build backlinks and hope to rank above the negative review. If you get really desperate you can neg SEO, but if the person knows what they are doing they will clearly know its you.

    Dienummer,

Its hard to say how much time exactly you would have to put in to drown out the bad reviews but the more positive content you push out there, the more likely it is that the reviews will be pushed down. Try creating external business listing properties and pushing out tons of branded blog posts over the next few weeks and that should do it.

    Hope that helps,

    Shawn
