Guys i think it is high time that we all helped the mods as they cannot see and do everything, more eyes on the board is far usefull than just a few , so i propose that we add on to the threads next to the thanks button a Report to mods button, this way the mods can react more quickly, any ideas on this guys

I agree with you there but it is just not clear enough for most people unless they see it in front of their nose they do not realise what it is ;-)

Bit like road signs....people always prefer text even though slowing down to read it is likely to cause accidents!!:D

I try to report any bullshit that i see but I have no idea if it actually helps or not. I've reported warez threads that continued on for hours afterwards....

I agree that we should all pitch in and help but it's a fine line sometimes. I certainly don't want the staff to get the idea that I am trying to "mini-mod" or overstep my boundries.

i dont think the mods will think anyway is overstepping they will take action as they deem resonable, it is just basically an easier way of flagging things, i know i have reported many things and the mods have always been very thankfull

    this button already exists: [!]
i'd like a bookmark button to save topics in my profile instead to hit the thanks button before i read all topic, to remember the topic, and come back to read after.

You can mark it by going in to thread tools....it's at the top of the first post and you just click 'subscribe.'

You are automatically subscribed when you comment...in the same manner as when you give 'thanks.'

I find the best way to manage this is via your User CP. You can list all of your subscriptions and delete the ones that are old or you no longer want in one hit.
