Apparently it's 100% powered by grok and the algo will be released entirely opensource soon, if you look on github now the repo exists but its last update was 4 months ago, I've read they are planning on staggering the releases.

Apparently I also made a thread about it, but people in the replies just don’t believe what he is saying. Since he is an advisor of solana and X lead product, he has the audacity to destroy crypto Twitter because he just seems to not care about them even though he is in solana advisor team.
Other people just didn’t care about his point of view as they wants followers to see their post when as of right now, the algorithm is getting screwed over. You can actually still be reply guy but you need to find hot tweets that is currently being reposted or replied.
But if you do “gm” tweet, it’s going to be low quality content, unless if you reply with tweets or post that are heating up, you can easily get traffic if you post very good quality content.
I do see some Chinese side of twitter/X showing people how to find hot tweets by using advanced search (normal twitter/X or tweetdeck [you can use oldtwitterdeck GitHub but it’s dangerous if you are non-premium]).

I guess they found out that a large chunk of posts are from crypto niche and want to limit them. X is the last popular text platform while everything else is media centric. They should retain their core user base and limit spam.
