So I sell things online. I sell on my own websites, and on some websites that aren't mine. Some of the things I sell are social media services.

Sometimes things get shut down (Vine.co shutting down, or Pinterest removing their likes button).

Now I can't decide whether I should remove those services from wherever I'm selling them, or if I should let the offers sit there and exist.

    Here is my reasoning...

If I let the services sit and exist, there is always potential that someone will run into them, either by searching for them or by running into some of the links I've built promoting them. So the potential for traffic is why I want to let them exist.

On the other hand, if I don't remove them, potential clients may see these services and think to themselves that my offers are outdated, that I'm not keeping up with the markets, and promptly leave and go look for things to buy elsewhere.

I'm really split on this 50/50. What do you guys think?

Remove them. It's always best to stay up to date on trends. While most clients may seem like they aren't "with it" in terms of IM lingo and updates, you'd be surprised who will confront you about why you have Vine stuff on your site still. That puts you into a corner, as if you say "well I need to update my site" then they may be apprehensive at your abilities to keep their own digital properties up to speed in an everchanging online landscape.

Keep it current, keep it clean
If you want to make that green

That's an awesome reply. Exactly what I was looking for. Big like.

Love how you ended it there.
