    Hi all,

first, let me explain my situation.

I'm holding an online business in a small country that is outsourcing marketing for 10 web sites in the same niche. It's about 1.500.000 unique visitors monthly. The best thing about it is that the 10 web sites that we are holding are the only one in that niche, so advertisers that want to go with their products in that niche just have to go to us.

As an ad agency we are selling services like banner ads, PR and sponsored texts, viral marketing and SEO.

I do not have a problem with banner selling because I'm in that business for three years now, the prices are going down but you can make a living from it. The PR, viral marketing and SEO things are new, but i'm working on it and I believe that all will go well.

    My clients are:
*Big company's that don't care about the amount of money or ROI
*Middle company's that care about the money, but not about the ROI
*Other AD agency's that care about the money and ROI
*Little company's and start ups that want clients for peanuts

The problem that I'm encountering is that many small clients and start ups don't want to advertise on my sites trough banners because "it's to expensive, fuck you, Google ads are cheaper". And then, the next scene, they advertise on MY SITES trough Google Ads.

We block them, of course, but it's still annoying that the money went in to Big G pocket, and not in to mine. It's not like i loosed 10.000 $, but I sure think that I'm loosing 10 clients x 300$ monthly.

So, the idea that i had is to disable Google ads on all 10 sites and put there my "textual ad service" that would be cheaper than banner ads, but 30% higher priced than G ads.

And then, if someone had a product in that niche, and want's to advertise it good, he just doesn't have an "other way", because I disabled the G-ads. So he has to go to me directly and leave the money in my pocket.

    Pros:
    * I can put the price UP and make more money
    * I can advertise it trough my 10 web sites and get more small clients
    * I don't have to wait for my money to arrive from Big G, it's on my account sooner
    * I don't have to do face 2 face marketing because its automated, so i can focus on big clients

    Cons:
-I will lose money the first two-three months (currently there is from 100 to -400$ per site monthly from G ads)
-I will have to put money in to advertising and build up a brand, again

That's it, now I would love to hear your experiences in this field, how to deal with customers that are paying Google rather than direct ads and what do you think generally about the idea of replacing Google Ads?

    Thanks
