Just changed the theme on my site and it has 20!!! outgoing links. Here's a screenshot of ten (the other ten are social and links that I want to link out to).

I need rid of these ones but can't see anywhere to delete them. I guess a couple are from plugins but would they stop working if I delete them? It's the wordpress and adwords links I want rid of.

First you'll need to find the source of those links, if all links appear after changing the theme then they must be inside theme files and use a search tool like "advanced find and replace" to search for the links inside files. and if they are not encrypted you'll be able to find them in case the theme is coded to stop function after removing links it's possible to stop working but it depends on the code it has.

There is usually a section for the newly installed theme, that will contain settings for the theme, check under all those settings.

Thanks guys, I'll try them. No blogroll though, that seems to have been missing since the latest WP update. Will look at the other places :) It's so simple but it's driving me mad as I can't find them.
