    Hey all. I know this is a repeat thread. I can't find the orig. I was going to add to that but can't seem to find.

    This web page will show you how to remove the nav bar from Blogger so people can't flag your blog and so it looks more like a "real" web site. This also has a video to show you step by step.

    Enjoy.

    In my limited time making a blog farm (partly using Blogger), I would suggest you use and leava an regular Blogger template in place for a week or so, so that it doesn't trigger any flag with Big G!

    I tried making 12 blogs yesterday, and on everyone of them I put the hide the toolbar code (in a custom template), and within an hour, every single blog had been flagged as a spam blog and I had to request a manual review to restore them..

    I hadn't even posted anything spammy yet.. Just an article from EzineArticles..

    Anyway.. I digress..

    The code to put in your template (just above the </head> tag) is as follows :

    Code:
    <style type='text/css'>
    #navbar-iframe {
    height: 0px;
    visibility: hidden;
    display: none;
    }
    </style>

    Hope that helps..

    Just wondering if that can get your site banned?

    it doesn't say anywhere that removing the nav bar is against their TOS but then again u never know

    @bhw48
    i really dont think ur blogs got flagged spam for removing the nav bar. infact i think it was due to the fact that u pasted articles directly from ezine. an author of the article might have checked it out on copyscape or something and flagged all ur blogs as spam.

    None of my blogger blogs have ever been banned for removing the navbar and I always ALWAYS remove it.

    Blogger won't care if you remove the navbar, it is an eyesore anyways.
