Remove all Unused Images (Wordpress)

Hi bhw fam,

I have a site where I import thousands of post, the import brings a lot of images that I dont end up using.

Does anyone know of a way I can delete all images that are not being used on the site and are just sitting in the media library?

I bought a site like this before and it was overwhelmed with useless images.

I originally used a mass delete plugin, but that isn't enough. You need to go into cpanel and delete images from the backend to fully get rid of everything.

Do you know of any plugins that identifies all unused images or you had to search yourself?

Do not use plugins. You can find it by just typing something like "bulk image delete".

You need to delete properly through the backend or the images will eventually slow down your site.
