This is my first post to this board, despite being a member for quite a while. Most of you know me as jimmycl - an EAPD & Troopal moderator. I just wanted to post a message here, giving MattChaos a chance to rectify a situation with his RemoteDSL service - perhaps my emails got lost in the shuffle, I'm sure he'll do the right thing here.
On October 16th, after going back and forth on a few emails / questions for Matt, I purchased a veteran setup and received email confirmation from him that he'd received payment and would begin setting it up. Since then, I have emailed him numerous times and sent a couple private messages on this forum as well - all with no reply from him.
I realise setup can take 3-5 business days for a veteran setup & up to 7 days for CLAD setups (as per his site), but I am now going on 13 days (not counting October 16th) with no setup or communication on his part. That said I feel the right thing for me to do is to request a full refund prior to commencing a chargeback and tarnishing his paypal account reputation.
I would appreciate it if Matt gets back to me on this, and I will update this thread as time progresses.
