Totally possible. you would most likley use it thru RDC.
You will usually pay an extra $10 - $25 a month for windows .

You can find VPS servers fairly cheap $15 a mo and up..

logmein.com is the best for me! Plus, you don't need software from the client's side, u simply login from ur browser.

The free edition offers remote desktop so ur good to go ;)

    This is correct!
You would use RDC. Team viewer isnt for doing things like this exactly.
Its ment for remote service. using TV for long periods of time isnt great for long distance connections.
RDC works best also dont use hamachi or anything like this cause your liable to be hacked.

Win servers get hacked alot ive been hacked 5 times on my radio streaming server

theplanet(dot)com has ok server prices or try somthing in the UK or Spain

Why do you guys want XP? It's not being used by hosting companies simply because it's not a OS for servers - it's not safe, has some limitations etc.. and besides that, you can run every app on both Windows server editions - 2003 is based on XP, 2008 is based on Vista/7 - although some apps with personal or non-commercial type licenses may refuse to work on Server Edition. Besides that eveyrthing runs fine. So all you need to do is to find any Windows VPS or dedi with root access and RDP :)

From experience... the best way to go about doing this is via a dedicated linux server + VMware + Windows VM + Remote Desktop

Most windows servers or vps will give you a choice of window 2003 or 2008. Both you can use the built windows remote desktop. I have vps and server and is able to use the remote desktop for both.

Many bots aren't built to be run on servers,

take MYADTOOLS for instance, it just doesnt work right on server 2003

Without a windows XP/vista/7 server I cant run my bots....

if anyone knows of anyways to do this let me know! could I get a copy of windows xp/vista/7 and download it onto my server?
