1100 of them are in english, on american domains and ips.

To Even the score between correct language and IP links, i need to remove many of them. I wll start with half of them using webmaster tool.

but which one to remove? Please be spesific if you know or have any idea.
    thanks

Nope. Or maybe, but not a slap or anything, just loosing more and more this last 2 years, now we are in second page. And the 16 sites above have lower rank and less and bader links

Why do you feel like you need to remove them? Do you know that they are toxic? Give us a little more insight to your profile if you can?

You can try linkdelete.com free homepage tool that checks your backlinks for toxic backlinks. Thats a good start to give idea of how many toxic links you have homey.

Did you get a penalty though or a drop in rankings? Why you try to remove backlinks right now?

Our competitors have links from our country, at least 90% from our country or in our language. While we have 85% foreign links with foreign language.

To to test we have started 3 new webpages for smaler niches within the same niche and rank them in top 3 with only 3-6 local links.

now, our main page is our Brand name. We can not change it. We have partners with pr6 pages and many news paper articles in national newspapers in to our main page, but we have 1100 good quality links While our competition 16 pages in total have less all combined. So we fell that all foreign links with foreign languges is draging us down.

i have also read that we need to have most language or contry correct links to rank for keywords in our on language. Ibelieve after adding 3 more pages proving that im on to something, that is should at least have 50/50 of the links and not 90% links that no one uses and dont make any sens from the other side of the world.

i can not easily add more from this contry.

    So which one to remove?

A drop like that is often the precursor to a slap - which follows 2-3 weeks later some times.
This isn't always the case of course, but it is worrying.

Foreign language links ARE an issue. Specifically if you are not from the far east but have a lot of .KR, .RU or similar. Chine, Korea, Vietnam, Polynesian or Micronesian countries and many of the former parts of the Soviet Union have a higher than normal number of toxic sites.
These used to work a treat, but now...not so much.

Also check for SWL (site wide links) do you have more than - say - 5 links from some sites you've never heard of? THat's a bad sign.
That whole "get loads of links from one site by getting scrapebox to harvest every URL from a site you can drop a link on" is proving to be a bad idea in the long run.

Porn of XXX sites (unless you are in the porn industry of course)

Hacked links (link injection PHP hacks etc). Most tools don't tell you this. However a good sign is a link that is not visible on the page but only appears when you "View Source". My last two reconsideration clients had these and after the first recon request (which always fails BTW) the examples of bad links Google sent back included exploits of this kind (the kind GSA search engine ranker does for example)

This will cover most. Getting rid of them with a disavow now is easy. Once you get a slap a disavow will not be enough to satisfy Google, they will expect you to contact each and every site owner at LEAST twice and ask for the links to be removed and provide evidence of your efforts in this regard.

    So be quick!

Rather than trying to remove links that may or may not have caused an issue, why not focusing on adding just a handful of good quality links?

I live in a small country, with just a couple of native spoken forums and websites. I can not add more quality links, because quality means not from foreign sites in foreign languages. English and US is foreign languages for me.

I cant find anything wrong with my links. We have around 1100 good links, with PR3 webpage.
#1 for my main keyword have 23 links an PR2 page.
#2 for my main keyword have 44 links and PR1 page
#3 for my main keyword have 122 links and PR3 page
    and so on...

So its not about the quantity of the links, its about the quality and thrust (where its from). In my case its from us pages, which is on the other side of the world. In english, while my page is not in english and my keyword is not in english.

Anyone that know anything about local keywords and how to rank them? What should I do to get back on top?
