    Hello,

We have a website where we buy back devices online. PPC has been doing great and we wanted to to move in the right direction for organic growth. About 3 months ago we hired professional writers and bloggers to start building great content on our site and blog.

We've got in/outbound links finally starting however it's going really slow. We have a network of about 200+ employees that are also starting to help in the social sharing and liking of the blog. My question is, our next step was to start video blogs and utilize that for some help in rankings. We've made 6 videos as tests with basic instructions and the views have been amazing. We realized this is the way to go since youtube is now the biggest social platform on the internet and creating videos in our niche which is changing daily isn't difficult to do.

With that being said, we hired a pretty face girl who knows her gadgets and is comfortable with creating videos. Do you think this is the right approach? With the power of youtube - will it help out our blog and ultimately, our core main website?

We reviewed many tech blog youtube channels/sites. The problem is, it's all guys. We know for a fact having a beautiful girl reviewing the same things with much more in-depth reviews will be liked by the tech community. Not to mention, we have our hands on the latest phones and devices many times prior to it's release. We also have tech repair guys who will make instructional videos far beyond the basics of fixing screens.
All this put together should make a powerful channel - the main question is, will it help our site in rankings on google? Any advice, tips, suggestions will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Barbara

As long as the video is interesting, girl or boy do not matter that much Videos are great source of traffic but links you get from channels are no follow. So they may have some minute impact directly on rankings. However, if they are having huge traffic, there is a good change of getting natural links to the website from people who like the videos. This can help in rankings.
