I started a content/link locking site and pretty much got lost when time came for gaining traffic. I'm doing the standard stuff like commenting, YT videos, whatever to get natural traffic. It seems like an extremely slow process, So I started to think if paid traffic would be the answer and will I need to do this every time I start a different campaign or niche...

Basically I'm wondering if paid traffic, views, followers, or whatever it may be, the most vital part to your IM earnings?

I wouldn't pay for traffic to a content locked site - that seems like a high risk play.

Unless your tight with your CPA account manager and they know what you're doing and you're content locking something legit.

If you really want to pay for traffic there are better things to get into. Adult comes to mind first since there's a lower barrier to entry (cheap traffic, high volume, minimal deposits and so on).

I've done bought traffic for content locking sites and its a slim profit margin if any at all, unless you do things a little blackhat (running non-incent offers with CLP).

Its all in how you monetize it, it does work though!
