Reliable wholesale for Ebay resell?

recently getting into buying from wholesale and reselling for profit on ebay despite all the horrid fees :amish:


So question is...what are reliable sources?
so far only using alibaba, but theres no brands on anything, anywhere you can get brand names in bulk?

or any other wholesellers like alibaba that are popular?

Ah, you will find lot's of PM's in your inbox. Iphones 4 & 5 and anything expensive for half the price !!

If it's branded you can NOT get it cheap in China, or any Asian country. I don't know what is is with it......

Alibaba is a good source for China made goods, but be careful what you buy from whom.

Broker and middleman are posing as manufacturers, MOQ apply to most offerings, shipping cost is to be checked and rechecked. Finally, T/T or WU is the most commonly accepted form of payment. Paypal is frowned upon - i wonder why ?

Things like flash drives are cheap to have but again, be careful, many times you get "upgraded" stuff. 32 GB are shown but 512mb are given.

They also like to save a few pennies on anything with a battery. So you could end up with a nice looking MP3 player that is low batt after 30 minutes...


Once you start checking with suppliers you will find out that the prices are not that great.
many times the same item is sold on eBay for the same price or even cheaper.

There are many other sites that basically offer the same stuff with the same terms.

Still, if you have a decent amount to invest and do your due diligence you may be able to turn a buck this way. But it will be hard to compete with the big boys

Thanks for the info hahah i understand about all that cheapy goods, but yes there are many, i have found very few things that i can make a buck or two off in bulk, thing is will it sell? D:

Be very careful with suppliers from Alibaba. If you look carefully, you'll start seeing multiple companies using the same website, same picture, but different contact details. Some of them steal the website design and pass it off as their own to try to make a quick buck. Make sure you check their alexa rank, just in case, and the whois information. If their website looks fishy, just avoid it completely. I almost made a deal for 1.5k + shipping and custom costs until I starting digging deeper and found out that the seller is a scammer
