For Multilingual sites, we have an option to add rel="alternate" hreflang="x" link tags in head section.

    Please consider this scenario.

I have a site in 3 languages; English, German, Dutch.

The three tags generated would be following:

    I URL: <link rel="alternate" hreflang="en" href="main site URL - English default">
    II URL: <link rel="alternate" hreflang="de" href="German Page URL">
    III URL: <link rel="alternate" hreflang="nl" href="Dutch Page URL">

Now question is how we should apply these tags in different language URLs?

Should I use all of the above three tags in all language URLs? [I, II, III tags in all language URLs]
    or
Should I use only two other language tags than current, in all language URLs?

II & III tags in English URL head section
III & I tags in German URL head section
I & II tags in Dutch URL head section

    Waiting for replies.
    Thanks in advance

    Yes
It will help Google to rank German version in Google.de and Dutch Version in Dutch countries.
It will also help to prevent from duplicate content/title meta issue.

Yes, you should include I, II and III in all language URLs.

You should include all 3 tags on all language URLs. I have 3 sites that use this - every language page needs to include hreflangs for all alternative language pages, including a hreflanf for its own language.
