So I had a few great PBN domains that had great stats, however because of a dumb reason I didn't pay attention to re-register them for another year and some of them seem to be still available. Should I re-register them or would it be a waste of money?

If they have been lying dormant for a whole year then forget it and pick up recently dropped domains. Ofcourse there are other metrics like if backlinks exist, age of domains etc. but personally I would go for recently dropped domains (without spam ofcourse)

Depends on what backlinks they still have and how strong they are. It's always easier to rank a old domain compared to a new one.

If they have still some good backlinks metrics then I would say go for it.Check the stats again and you will get to know about it.
