Hello! My PBN is getting ready and I want to rank some sites with it. I have a 1 year old domain, let's say it is "www YourShinyGoldbars com" -> it doesn't contain any keywords except "goldbars". PR 1 DA 11 CF 20+ TF 20+ It has approx. 15 articles, some of them are on google Page 2,4,7,3 etc. I wanted to build an authority website for the niche and didn't try to rank the main page for any main keyword. Now I want to choose one several main Keyword Phrase, like let's say "Goldbars Costs" with 600-700 exact monthly searches (competition is moderate). So I will have to choose between: A) Write a big article for the main Page, with great onpage SEO (no overoptimization) and slowly set PBN links to it. Anchor Text Profile: picload.org/view/lwrdwco/mysiteanchor.gif.html PROS 1) no sandbox issue 2) site already has good metrics CONS 1) the linking profile is a bit messy: "Name" were used as anchor text very often, also a couple of low comp longtail keywords were used 2) no keyword in the domain........ OR: B) register a new domain (maybe aged) with my country TLD, which contains the exact Keyword Phrase. And post the big presell article on it and begin backlinking from my PBN. PROs 1) kw in the domain 2) european TLD 3) no messy anchor text CONS 1) waiting period sandbox 2) no DA/CF/TF advantage What is more effective, what do you think? What are your thoughts? Thanks

I would LOVE to use paragraphs, but for some reason BHW doesn't allow me! This is such a pity..

I'll try to shorten it. I have now a PBN and a 1 year old domain with good metrics and some articles are on Googles 2,3,4,5,6,7 Pages. But the Anchor text of the backlinks is messy, see this chart: picload.org/view/lwrdwco/mysiteanchor.gif.html And also the domain name doesn't contain the Main Keyword Phrase of mine. So the question is -> would it be more effective to register a new domain with main keyword phrase and point my PBN to it, or is it better just use my PBN on the old domain, despite the messy anchor text?

I'd keep the old domain, especially since it has good metrics.

Keyword in the domain really is NOT a huge ranking factor anymore. Unless the domain is spam'd or penalized just use the old one.

Domain age and metrics would give you better results than simply having your keyword in the domain.

Use the old domain, and instead of publishing the article targetting your main keyword on the homepage of your old site, create a subpage and publish the article there, then link to it from your PBN.

Thanks to everybody for taking the time to leave an answer! So it looks like I'm better off with the old one. SEO Power you suggest to create a subdomain like this: www.subdomainname.domain.com right? I think this is to keep all the DA and PR juice for the one article, right, then I will then just use a slightly changed MeinKeywordPhrase for that, e.g. -> www.GoldbarCostsRevealed.MainDomain.com
