Regarding Indexing backlinks

Well some basic stats suggest pinging does work but not holistically. I noticed forum backlinks get indexed easier when their is some text with the links such as a bio. The only other ones I have indexed are /memberlist crap

The main goal is to get your links crawled. Don't stress about whether they show up in the index - Google never shows all of your links anyway. Profile links are a volume play, so turn up the volume and get them crawled. Even if your backlinks aren't going up your rankings will.

This works for me like charm...

Google is going through some major changes in the way it's handling backlinks and the way it counts internal links.

The old ways are not working as they should; I think soon the old ways will not work at all.

The interim solution then will be to sacrifice a goat or something in front of your monitor with firefox is set to the google home page.

You might then want to smear a bit of blood on your keyboard.

And of course rum and cigars at small shrines set up outside google offices are an old favorite as well.

Until we figure out the new stuff that google is doing to block the old stuff we did to get around the really old stuff they did to block the ancient stuff we did to get around ....

Then we'll figure out how to screw that pooch the way we've always done.

I have 5000 profile urls. Now I want to check which urls are indexed. Can anybody tell me please how to check the indexing for multiple urls? Is there any tool for that?
