    Referrer Spamming?

Hey guys, anyone have a clue what it is? How it works? I have read people mentioned this but still I have a little knowledge about this stuff.

And anyone knows the tool to automated this process?

    Thanks.

i could be totally off on this explanation.

i dont know how effective it is but it sounds easy in concept.. just have a script that connects to a list of websites and pass along the command that it's coming from the site you are boosting and i guess it gets picked up in logs that are spidered? anyone else want to chime in?

Reffer spam is great. .. just change your user agent sting of your browser to premote your website in the logs of others. I also tried reffer spam by finding sites that have open stats page (see below for expamples) and sending fake traffic using your site as the reffering site. Since these stats pages our opened and index by google - instant backlink

    here are a few examples:
    http://climate.gi.alaska.edu/cgi-bin/awstats/awstats.pl?config=climate
    https://secure.mcc.edu/awstats/awstats.pl

Sorry for the poor typing - no sleep in 26 hrs

Hey Supa, that's cool! I think I got the idea now, for how long do you think we can stay as a refferer. And how can we do that, I'm not a coder so could you please explain with more detail.

yes, please explain farther. The concept is interesting, but I'm new at all this, so if some one could break it down to "layman's terms" I'd appreciate it

    Thanks

Yeah I've read the thread about PRStorm. So is there any available tools in the market beside PRstorm?

    Hi
Sorry to come in so late. I use traffic & linking from affiliatesupportdesk.com. This software comes pre loaded with quite a few sites that have there logs spidered. My question is how can I find more sites that have there logs open to the search engine spiders ?

Sorry just realised how old this thread is.
Can't see how to cancel it.
